Apply for the 2026 IT Leadership Boot Camp by April 3rd
Want to find our more information about boot camp? Reach out at itlc@iu.edu.
Each year, UITS offers the IT Leadership Boot Camp, a leadership workshop designed for emerging leaders in information technology at IU. Thirty-six participants will have the chance to engage in three full-day, interactive summer sessions focused on Strengths Based Leadership, networking with colleagues, and honing essential leadership skills.
In these dynamic and interactive sessions, you'll explore key leadership competencies, deepen your self-awareness, and jump-start your leadership journey. You will also take the Strengths Finder survey, facilitated by University Human Resources Organizational Development, and use the results to apply your strengths to leadership practices. Additionally, you'll have numerous opportunities to expand your professional network and better understand your colleagues.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, complete the application linked below when it becomes available and answer a few questions about why you would like to attend. Please note that since we receive more applications than the number of seats available for Boot Camp, this self-attestation contributes greatly to the selection process. Your attendance in all sessions is critical. In the application, you are asked to confirm your availability and, if selected, clear any other commitments for those days. Also, we recommend you consult with your manager, so they are aware of your interest; your manager’s information is required on the form. You can also submit up to two references to comment on your leadership potential. Final selections will be made after the application deadline in April. You will be notified of your selection status after final decisions are made.
