Why be a mentee or mentor?
Research shows that mentees have greater productivity, quicker advancement, larger social/professional networks, greater career satisfaction, better integration with their colleagues, greater confidence, and greater professional identity. Mentors also show greater personal fulfillment, greater career satisfaction, professional rejuvenation, and increased social/professional networks.
The benefits of a mentor program are not limited to mentees and mentors. Organizations report greater productivity, professional growth, harmony, recruiting, and retention rates.
Invitation to ITLC’s 2023 Mentorship Program
Do you want to make a difference in someone’s career, boost your network, grow your confidence, or otherwise become more engaged at work? The IT Leadership Community wants you for its 2023 Mentorship Cohort.
ITLC mentorship program is open to anyone working in IT at IU. The program will begin on May 1, 2023, and conclude March 31, 2024. The program is seeking applications for both mentors and mentees for the 2023 cohort and the planning team will be matching colleagues based on strengths and topics of interest.
Here’s how to get involved. Note: To help us make meaningful matches, please complete your application by the deadline listed below.
